Websites for electrical contractors
ELEKTRO MA, a master electrical business in Duisburg, had no website of its own. Work came only through referrals. Since the site went live, people who did not know the business before get in touch too.
How it usually looks
An electrical business covers a lot: installation, solar and storage, wall boxes, smart home, network technology, inspections for commercial customers. But nobody searches for all of it at once — they search for exactly one topic. And the people searching are very different. Someone planning a solar system compares quotes for weeks. Someone with a power cut in their shop calls the first person they can reach.
What matters for electricians
One page per service
“Have a wall box installed”, “solar with storage”, “electrical inspection for businesses”: each of these needs its own page with your service area. A list of services on the homepage is not found for any of these terms.
Explain the process before people ask
Many enquiries about wall boxes or solar start with the same questions: how long does it take, what has to be clarified beforehand, who registers the system with the grid operator? Answer that on the site and you get enquiries from people who already know what to expect.
Reachable when something breaks
If you offer a call-out service, it belongs at the top with number and service area, dialable with one tap on a phone. If you do not, say so just as clearly — it saves you calls you would turn down anyway.
Photos of your own installations
A solar system on a roof in your area is more convincing than any stock image. Phone photos are fine if they show how neatly things were wired and labelled.
Many businesses buy solar leads from comparison portals. Every contact costs money there and often goes to several businesses at once. A page of your own that ranks for “solar” plus your town brings enquiries that only reach you — it just takes a few months to work.
Which pages you need
A workable starting point. Not every point applies to every business — we settle that in the first conversation.

ELEKTRO MA
Master electrical contractor, Duisburg
A certified electrical contractor doing solar, smart home and installation work, with no website at all — enquiries came only through word of mouth.
A web presence with a contact form and technical search optimisation. Enquiries now also come from people who had never heard of the business.
Frequently asked
Is a separate page for solar or wall boxes worth it?
If you want that work, yes. People search for these topics specifically, with a place name, and those comparing read carefully. A dedicated page with process, photos and common questions has far better chances than a sentence on the homepage.
What does a website for an electrical business cost?
A web presence with the key service pages starts at €1,690, a single page to begin with at €690. The guide prices are on the pricing page; you get a fixed price after a short conversation.
Can enquiries arrive sorted by topic?
Yes. The form asks what it is about — solar, wall box, fault, commercial — and the enquiry reaches you sorted accordingly, with the key details up front if you like.
I hardly have any photos of my work.
Then we start with what there is, and you take a few phone pictures on your next jobs. The site grows with you; photos can be added at any time.
A website for your business?
Describe briefly what you have in mind. You get an honest assessment of effort, duration and cost — and a hint if something else fits better.
