A website is not finished at launch. Systems and extensions receive security updates, certificates expire, forms quietly stop sending. With WordPress, most known vulnerabilities are in extensions, not in the core — leaving them outdated leaves a door open. Maintenance means someone takes care of it before you or your customers notice.

Updates with checks
Updates are not applied blindly. A backup is made first, and afterwards I check that the site, forms and booking still work. If something breaks, it is rolled back and fixed before it goes live.
Backups you can actually restore
A backup is only as good as the restore. Backups run daily, and in an emergency I restore the last working state — instead of sending you a file you cannot do anything with.
Monitoring
Is the site reachable? Is the certificate about to expire? I usually notice an outage before you do and deal with it before customers see an error message.
Changes without a ticket system
In the Care package you write to me what should change — opening hours, prices, a new photo, a new subpage. Smaller changes are included, with a reply within one working day. Anything bigger we agree on first.
Booking included
Every package includes LivaLink Business, which costs €29 a month on its own: appointment booking, contact options and chat with your own branding. From €20 you pay less for maintenance and booking together than for booking alone.

When it is not the right choice
If you apply updates yourself, have backups and can restore them, you do not need a maintenance contract. Your site keeps running without one.

If the site is hosted with me, it runs on servers in Germany for €19 a month. You can also stay with your current provider.
Domain, hosting and logins are in your name. If you cancel, nothing is lost and nobody has to hand anything over.

Without a maintenance agreement your site of course keeps running - you then handle updates yourself, and the regular LivaLink tariff applies.

What does website maintenance cost?
Basic costs €20 a month: updates, daily backup, monitoring. Care costs €69 and adds changes to content and structure. Visibility costs €129 and adds ongoing search engine work with a short monthly report. All packages can be cancelled monthly.
Do you take over sites someone else built?
After a look at it, usually yes. If an installation is badly outdated, I tell you beforehand what is needed first and what it costs — sometimes a rebuild ends up cheaper than a year of patching.
My site was hacked. What now?
Call. First the site is taken offline or reset to a clean state, then the vulnerability is found and closed. I charge the clean-up by effort at the hourly rate of €65. After that, maintenance makes sure it does not happen again.
Do I need maintenance if you built my site?
Not necessarily. Sites I build have few dependencies and need far less care than a WordPress installation with many extensions. Updates and backups are still needed — either I handle them or you do.
Am I tied to a contract?
No. All packages can be cancelled monthly, with no minimum term.
